Julia & Nick's Love Story
"The fire when it's cold and the sunrise after a long night." Vulnerability is the key word I would use to describe this film. Nick and Julia shared letters and vows that spoke to the deep love and loss they have experienced in their lives. It was overwhelmingly evident throughout the day that they found their person in each other. Julia and I had conversations about how we wanted to honor the loss of her dad in this film. Details and memories of him were incorporated throughout the day and we wanted to express that in this film as well. Nostalgia plays a significant role when l'm creating a film. Having the opportunity to show old footage of Julia that her dad took and videos of Nick and Julia throughout their relationship transformed how I wanted their film to feel.

We cannot say enough good words about Hannah!! She was so sweet to work with before, during, and after our big day! She was such a hype girl behind the camera and made us feel confident and beautiful! The thoughtfulness and hard work that she put into creating such a special film can truly never be matched. She captured not only our wedding day beautifully, but also the tribute that this day was to my Dad, whom I lost the same weekend- eleven years prior. We wanted this day to be a celebration of love, while also redeeming a date that brought much sadness, and remembering the man who loved me first. Hannah found every way possible to embody all of these things on film, and it was nothing short of cinematic. We are so thankful to have so many memories and raw emotions in one place, to look back on for years to come. We couldn’t have been more pleased with the outcome and are beyond excited, still, that we chose to invest in a video that will be close to our hearts forever.
