Dayle & James

The Kishs Love Story

From the moment Dayle and James’ wedding day began, it was clear this celebration would be about far more than a single moment in time. Their day was thoughtfully woven together with meaning, faith, and a love that felt both steady and deeply profound. Their love was gentle, steady, and deeply reassuring, the kind of love that feels like home. Family and friends traveled from all over the world to witness this union, a testament to how deeply loved and supported these two truly are. It was a powerful reminder that this marriage was not just joining two people, but two families and two stories, now woven together as one. The heart of their wedding day was beautifully anchored in scripture, with a theme drawn from Nehemiah 8:10, “The joy of the Lord is your strength.” This verse encapsulated their day in the most profound way. There was joy in abundance.

from the heart...

From the moment we first connected with Hannah, I knew she was going to be someone incredibly special in our lives. She and her husband filmed our wedding in Charleston, South Carolina on December 7, and choosing them was without a doubt one of the best decisions we made during our wedding planning.

From the very beginning, Hannah was so intentional. She would call to check in leading up to the wedding- not just about logistics, but to genuinely get to know us. She asked about the people who meant the most to me, which family members I would want special footage with, and what moments felt the most significant in our story. I felt so seen and cared for. It never felt like “just another wedding” to her but instead it felt personal and meaningful. On the wedding day, she had the most calming and steady presence. Nothing felt forced or staged. She captured the quiet in between moments, the glances, the tears, and the laughter. Her eye for detail is truly unmatched.

One of the most special parts of our film was something I didn’t even realize she was creating in the moment. In our vows, James said, “Who would’ve thought- it started out with a kiss,” and later at our reception that song (Mr Brightside) was playing. Hannah thoughtfully looped our vow footage right as that lyric was playing in the background. The way she tied that together was so intentional and creative. That level of attention says everything about how much care she pours into her work.

When we watched our wedding film, we were overwhelmed with emotion. It felt like our love, our people, our story- told with so much heart. She didn’t just capture a day; she preserved a feeling.
I would choose Hannah over and over again without hesitation! What she gave us is something we will treasure for the rest of our lives. And beyond her incredible talent, she is a beautiful human inside and out filled with Jesus joy. I am so grateful for her and so honored that now I get to call her a friend.
